Livingston County Animal Shelter Adoption of the Week: Dani

Don’t have any Bernie mittens? We have just the thing to keep you warm. Meet Dani!

Dani is a 6-year-old tabby who was out in the cold for several weeks but would stick around for food. She has since settled in nicely to indoor life. Dani can be shy at first but once she opens up and builds your trust, she is sweet and mellow. She will give you little nibbles to show affection and headbutts when she wants attention.

At the shelter, Dani can be seen bird watching out the large picture window, or hanging around with the other cats. She would do best in a calm home with time to settle into her new surroundings. Dani is spayed, up-to-date on medical, and micro-chipped. She is looking for just the right family to give her a second chance.

Looking to add a new member to your family? Check out Dani and other animals available for adoption at or call (517) 546-2154 for more information. If you are interested in a foster-to-adopt option, please contact the shelter, or come by for a visit.

Sharing is caring!

By day, Cheryl Ellis is a project manager at a specialty pharmacy. The rest of her waking hours are spent taking photos for her website, Harvest Moon Photography. She was inspired to start volunteering at the Livingston County Animal Shelter after adopting a senior cat named Samson.
