Livingston County Animal Shelter Adoption of the Week: Ava

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Who can resist those ears? Ava is a 2-year-old black Border Collie/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with white feet and a white patch on her chest.

Ava is a bundle of energy and would love nothing more than to play with her toys. She is very sweet and snuggly, and would be a loyal companion. Ava would benefit from some basic training, but she is very smart so she be a quick learner. She has shown signs of slight separation anxiety, but is fine being crated. She is also not a fan of being restrained, including body hugs and nail trims. Ask our staff for more information.

Ava would do well with older children – no youngsters please. She enjoys other dogs and is quite curious about cats. Ava is house trained, spayed, and up to date on her medical.

The shelter will be closed on Monday, January 18, 2021, in observance of MLK Day.
