The Hartland Senior Activity Center , 9525 E. Highland Road, will host a fall open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3. Adults 50 and over are invited to stop by to see what the center has to offer.
Highlights of the event include over 30 vendors on site from 10 a.m. to noon, offering information, giveaways and services. Free hot dogs will be served at noon.
The Silver Strummers will provide live entertainment from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees will be eligible for a variety of prizes, including a year of free HSAC membership.
The open house is the centerpiece of HSAC’s Free Week of Fun, running Aug. 31 through Sept. 4, during which all fitness classes and activities at the center are free and open to anyone. Those who join HSAC as new members during Free Week of Fun receive the remainder of 2026 plus all of 2027 at no additional cost.
“We want the community to see HSAC for what it really is: a place where adults 50 and over can stay active, make friends, and find something new to enjoy every day,” said Kim Konarski, HSAC director. “The Open House is the perfect chance to walk through our doors and experience that for themselves.”
HSAC is part of the Hartland Consolidated School District and serves adults age 50 and older throughout the surrounding area. The HSAC has no residency restrictions. For more information about the open house or HSAC membership, call (810) 626-2135.
