Golf event on June 8 benefits youth drug prevention programs

The Livingston County Community Alliance 2019 Charity Golf Outing Scramble, benefiting youth drug prevention programs, is set for Saturday, June 8, rain or shine, at Whispering Pines Golf Club, 2500 Whispering Pines Drive in Pinckney.

Registration is at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Lunch will be served at the turn. There will also be a silent auction and dinner following golf. Included are awards, games, mixed 18 holes of golf, goodie bag, and a catered salmon or chicken dinner. If you are not part of a foursome, you’ll be included in one.

The golf outing funds the Livingston County Community Alliance, a county-wide coalition that brings the community together to reduce and prevent youth substance use, and to live a safe and drug-free lifestyle. Funds raised go back into the community in the form of mini grants.

Registration is $100 a golfer.  Click here for more information.
