Twilight in the Garden event raising funds for LACASA

/

LACASA Center will host Twilight in the Garden, a midsummer fundraising event from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at the Triple Diamonds Alpaca Ranch in Howell.

Twilight in the Garden offers guests the opportunity to sample an array of domestic and international wines, sip on cool brews, and nibble on delicious food. They can enjoy sizzling live jazz, shop the Twilight Treats market, and play lawn games for a chance to win fun prizes.

This year’s charity event is set on the expansive property of Triple Diamonds Alpaca Ranch. Guests can photograph adorable alpacas close-up and shop at the Triple Diamonds Alpaca Boutique pop-up store.

Local restaurants and chefs participate in the event’s Taste of Twilight competition, where awards are given for the night’s best culinary offerings.

The Best in Blooms competition showcases local florists, who create one-of-a-kind arrangements and compete for floral display awards.

All proceeds from the much-anticipated garden party stay local and help victims of child abuse and interpersonal violence from the community.

The cost for Twilight in the Garden is $75 per person and includes parking, wine and beer tastings, food, and live entertainment. Attire is garden party casual.

Tickets may be purchased at Bordine’s in Brighton, Heavenly Scent Herb Farm in Fenton, at LACASA Collection in Howell, or online at lacasacenter.org. Advance reservations are encouraged.
