Spaghetti dinner set to benefit toddler’s family as he undergoes cancer treatment

/
Kyle and Caitlynn hold their son, Rowen, at Christmastime.

On Rowen Jordan’s 2nd birthday — Nov. 16, 2022 — he was diagnosed with metastatic Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. The toddler is currently undergoing treatment at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor.

Rowen’s rigorous treatment plan requires the full-time care of both his parents, Kyle and Caitlyn Jordan of Howell.

To help them navigate through this, friends and supporters are hosting a spaghetti dinner from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, at the American Legion Post 141, 3265 W. Grand River Ave. in Howell. In addition to the food, there will be 50/50 drawings and raffles. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children, and a cash bar will be available.

Those putting the dinner together are also seeking donations at all levels for raffle prizes during the dinner. If there is anything you can offer, reach out to Lisa Kosbasic at (810) 360-8722, Deanna Wennberg at (517) 861-6229, or Jon Jordan at (517) 375-1412.

There is also a Go Fund Me account to accept donations to help defray medical costs and the family’s living expenses. Click here to donate.

All money raised will go directly to the Jordans.
