The annual Taste of Brighton festival — a celebration of local cuisine, shopping, live music, activities for the kids, and shoulder rubbing with friends and neighbors — is drawing big crowds to Main Street.
The festival is open in downtown Brighton until 11 p.m. Friday, July 10, and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, July 11. Admission and activities are free, as is parking and shuttle service from the following locations:
• Brighton High School, 7878 Brighton Road
• Meijer, 8650 W. Grand River Ave.
• Spencer Road Park and Ride, 9310 Spencer Road, just north of the I-96 interchange.
There will also be a fireworks show on Saturday.
