The Castaway Play Cafe in Howell Township, which has been keeping kids active and entertained for two decades, is closing at the end of the month.
The manager posted the news on Facebook and confirmed that its last day of operations will be July 31.
She said the new owners might decide to continue operating the play cafe, but no decisions have been made.
Located at 1800 N. Burkhart Road in Howell Township, across from the Kensington Valley Outlets mall, Castaway Play Cafe opened in 2006. It’s been a popular destination for play and birthday parties ever since.
The business originally opened with just its huge climbing structure inside but later added some inflatables, including a bounce house and a huge double slide.
The Castaway Play Cafe also has a massive arcade and skeeball area.
