Matthew Ball — aka the Boogie Woogie Kid, whose YouTube videos boast nearly 5 million views — will perform a free, family friendly music event featuring American songbook favorites from Gershwin to the Beatles with a boogie-woogie and blues twist 6-7:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at the Fowlerville District Library, 130 S. Grand Ave.
Some of the songs Ball will perform include “In the Mood,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” “Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off,’ “It Had to be You,” “When the Saints go Marching In,” “Imagine,” “One Fine Day,” and many more.
