Birch & Elm women’s clothing, lifestyle boutique, opening in downtown Howell this spring

Birch & Elm, a unique boutique featuring women’s clothing and gifts is opening its third location at 213 E. Grand River Ave. in downtown Howell’s Barley Building, next to Cello Italian Ristorante, this spring. Birch & Elm’s other locations are in Williamston and Owosso.

Owners Joe and Shannon Howansky established Birch & Elm in 2016. According to the Birch & Elm website, the store curates a “lifestyle brand that represents fashion market trends that reflect the communities they serve.”

Products include women’s apparel, paper goods, accessories, Michigan-made gifts and unique home decor items.

“This free-spirit, rustic vibe dares you to step outside of your comfort zone to experience a brand that extends your sense of style and confidence,” according to its website.
