Barrett stops at two county businesses on tour of 7th District

U.S. Rep. Tom Barrett, R-Charlotte, met with local workers, business leaders, community officials, and residents across the 7th District last week, in a tour that brought him to two Livingston County businesses. Barrett also hosted a roundtable in Lansing on Aug. 24 to discuss domestic energy production and ways to lower costs for Michigan families.

Among Barrett’s stops were at Lake Trust Credit Union in Brighton, where he said in a release that they discussed his work in Congress to lower costs and make homeownership more attainable.

Barrett also toured TG Fluid Systems in Brighton, a key supplier to Michigan’s automotive industry. He met with the workers who manufacture fuel systems and discussed how Congress can continue support Michigan’s auto industry.
