Wish list booklet available in time for holiday giving season

The holidays will soon be here, with people often thinking about making local donations to help local families and agencies. The 24th Annual Livingston County United Way’s “Filling Wishes” Booklet compiles “wish lists” from area nonprofit organizations hoping to be adopted for holiday or year-end giving.

The booklet, online at http://www.lcunitedway.org/give/, lists practical products and services, such as office supplies, equipment or gift cards, needed to help local organizations provide strong community programming, while offsetting operating costs. In some cases, “gently” used items may be donated, such as office equipment, furniture or supplies. For individuals and businesses needing year-end tax deductions, receipts can be given for contributed items.
