Wake Up Livingston event focusing on drug treatment, prevention

Wake Up Livingston is a call for action for Livingston County residents to wake up to the truth about drug misuse and abuse in the community!

Join us from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at 2/42 Church, 7526 Grand River Ave., Brighton, for a county-wide event to educate yourself and the public on current prevention initiatives and local treatment resources.

St. Joseph Mercy Livingston is teaming up with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Livingston Sunrise Rotary, Key Development Center, Karen Bergbower & Associates, and Livingston County Catholic Charities to bring the first “Wake Up” call to Livingston County community members regarding drug misuse and abuse in our county.

This is essentially an “expo” showcasing all of the services we have right here in our own county to tackle drug use and abuse, by way of treatment and prevention. The event will also include family-friendly activities and light refreshments.
