The 2017 Spring Howell Comic Expo, sponsored by Cleary University, is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 18, at the Cleary University Johnson Center.

This will be the second Howell Comic Expo. Last year’s Fall Expo drew hundreds of community residents, with over 70 vendors and special guests and activities for guests of all ages.

Among the guests currently committed to the Spring Expo are Dan Phillips, owner of DP Studios, who was featured on Sy-Fy Network’s Face-Off and worked on the set of the Hobbit trilogy movies; David C. Hayes, author, performer, and filmmaker; Jon King, radio host at WHMI 93.5-FM; and William Messner-Loebs, former Wonder Woman and Flash writer and artist. More guests are still to be announced. The Historic Howell Theatre will also be airing a special screening of Marvel’s “Logan” following the Howell Comic Expo at 5 p.m. All Expo attendees will receive $2 off their ticket price, as well as a FREE general admission ticket to a future visit.
