Run, Ichabod, Run! Headless Horseman run kicks off Oct. 27

The 4th Annual Headless Horseman 5K/10K is ready to get everyone into the Halloween spirit. With over 1,200 runners participating last year you will not want to miss this event! We encourage everyone to get into the spirit of the season in Sleepy Howell by participating in the Headless Horseman 5K/10K, a costumed run/walk.

The Headless Horseman 5K/10K will start and finish near State Street in Downtown Howell. All runners are encouraged to dress up in costume and run as their favorite Halloween character.

Late registrations, post-race awards, and refreshments will be held on State Street. Awards will go to overall men’s, women’s, and Masters. Age group awards to the top three places in men’s and women’s group in the 5K/10K: 10 and under / 11-2 / 13-14 / 15-18 / 19-24 / 25-29 / 30-34 / 35-39 / 40-44 / 45-49 / 50-54 / 55-59 / 60-64 / 65-69 / 70+.

All early registrants will receive a race packet and long sleeve shirt. Late registrants are not guaranteed a t-shirt. Deadline to register before the late fee is added is Oct. 25 at 11:59 pm. Cost is $25 per person early, $30 late.
