Pinckney seniors off to next level

Former Pinckney athletic director Tedd Bradley always made a point of collecting seniors who were going to play their sports in college for a group photo, to serve as a milestone and inspiration to the school’s younger athletes.

His successor, Brian Wardlow, is continuing the tradition, releasing a photo of this year’s athletes on Tuesday.

“We are very excited here at Pinckney Community Schools as the Pirate Athletics program is strengthening more and more every year,” Wardlow said in a statement. “Not only are these graduating students tremendous athletes, their academics are just as impressive.  This group has an average cumulative G.P.A. of 3.4.

“These students are wonderful examples of individuals who have discovered the challenging balance of academics and athletics,” he added. “Pinckney Community Schools and the athletics program wish them the best of luck.”
