Art and handcrafted items will be available for sale, proceeds from which will help sponsor the Church’s Mission efforts in Guatemala.

Items like these will be available for sale at the 2012 Mission, Art & Music Festival

Art will be on display and for sale from 10:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Art display will continue until April 30th, every week day from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

For those who would like to meet the artists, there will be a reception with the artists from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.

For those who can stay for lunch, at 12:15 p.m. soup will be served.

Rev. Brenda J. Grauer is the president of In Stitches: Center for Liturgical Art, a company that provides resources to congregations interested in engaging in the arts. She will be leading a workshop at 1:15 on creating a faith community mobile.

Finally, at 5:00 p. m. there will be a concert featuring a variety of musical styles, followed by a reception with the musicians.

The church is located at 300 East Grand River. There is no charge for this event, but an offering will be taken. Call (810) 227-7411 or visit www.brightonpresbyterian.org  for more information.
