On Saturday, September 14, 2013, pro-life Americans will gather around the country to attend memorial services honoring aborted babies as part of the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children. This event—sponsored by Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, Priests for Life, and the Pro-Life Action League—will mark the 25th anniversary of the burial of several hundred aborted babies who were retrieved from the trash and buried in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In addition to the Milwaukee site, thousands of such retrieved babies have been buried at gravesites across the United States. The memorial services will be held at some of these gravesites, as well as at other memorial markers.
There will be over 70 memorial services happening throughout the country on September 14. In Livingston County, a one-hour service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, which is located at 9565 Musch Road, Brighton, Michigan 48116.
