Livingston County Home & Garden Show highlights latest and greatest in home improvement and landscaping

HomeShowClipThe Livingston County Home & Garden Show — center of the home improvement ideas-and-inspiration universe — is set for Friday, April 8, through Sunday, April 10, at the Howell High School Fieldhouse, 1200 W. Grand River Ave. in Howell. The 2016 show is hosted by the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Hartland Insurance Agency and Livingston Daily Press & Argus.

“It’s a wonderful community event that connects people eager for inspiration and ideas to the latest and greatest in home and garden projects and products, and gives information and resources about queries like- where to find roofing repairs in melbourne– and such others,” said Pat Convery, president of the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce. “The Home & Garden Show brings together everything homeowners could possibly dream of, and it offers builders, landscapers and home improvement companies the opportunity to showcase their skills, products and services.”

Not just home improvement
This year’s Livingston County Home & Garden Show features a whole lot more than just home improvement.

Show-goers can sample great food at the Taste of Livingston, shop at the Neighborhood Marketplace, enjoy a Fine Arts Show, get important information at the Community Resource Fair, dispose of personal documents at the Shred Day event, consult with master gardeners, and check out new cars and trucks from local auto dealers.

“The Home Show Committee has put together quite a weekend,” said Brenda Barone, coordinator of the event. “There is something for everyone, from do-it-yourselfers to people looking to hire contractors for their projects, to those who want to get some inspiration.”

Barone singled out Art Craft Display and Country Lane Flower Shops for their work on the Livingston County Home & Garden Show.  “Art Craft provides the floor plan design, booths, drapery, tables, chairs aisle carpeting and labor for the show,” Barone said. “And Country Lane helps welcomes our guests with the flowers and beautiful greenery at the entrance to the show. We are thrilled to have them on board again this year.”
