The Sound of Music-
Don’t miss this old classic being brought to life on the Pinckney Players stage. Starring Katie Huber-Welty as Maria and Karl Bangert as Captain Von Trapp! This show also includes the seven children: Leisl and her love interest Rolf; Freidrich, Louisa, Kurt, Brigitta, Marta, and Gretl (played respectively by Emily Hanka, Jason Maracani, Patrick Rutkowski, Julia Janda, Jack Bondie, Macy Goller, Grace Chapman, and little Sofia Garza-Perez), who help Maria realize her life meaning is not to become a nun as she planned but to fall in love and change the lives of a very unique family. The show dates are October 15th, 16th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd.
White Christmas-
Another amazing musical being brought to life at the Community Theatre of Howell. Directed by Vera Cunningham and starring John Hess as Bob Wallace, Melinda Towns as Betty Haynes, Cody Musteffe as Phil Davis, and Stephanie Sacker as Judy Hayes, this show is set to raise the bar. Having to take dance classes months before the show and the rest of the casting, the four leads are ready to impress as the story will unfold in front of your eyes when two unlikely couples fall in love in the midst of music and dance. Shows are on November 11-13, and 17-20.
Flowers for Algernon-
Howell High will be putting on this beautiful and moving story of a lonely man who has very little intelligence to his name and is used as a lab experiment. While he becomes smarter than anyone he knows and falls in love with the woman of his dreams, he knows he will soon forget it all and his smarts as the test reaches its end. Come join us for this soon-to-be-casted moment of glory for the high school and the proud moments for Amanda Malo when the curtain falls and the crowd applauds.
This show is for one weekend only on November 11th, 12th, and 13th so don’t miss it!
