Joe DeKroub now sole owner of area’s largest real estate company

Joe DeKroub is now the sole owner of RE/MAX Platinum in Ann Arbor, Brighton, Fenton and Hartland.
On June 29, 2012, DeKroub bought out former partners Will Steinmetz and Dan Callan, both of whom have signed long-term agreements to remain with the company.
DeKroub is also renewing the franchise agreement with RE/MAX for another six years.
“Our continued affiliation with RE/MAX is a valuable resource for our clients and our agents,” DeKroub said. “I am excited about the opportunities it presents to continue growing my company.”
As well as being the dominant real estate company in Livingston County, RE/MAX Platinum is also one of the largest in southeastern Michigan, with 156 agents and annual sales of $272 million. Crain’s List: Largest Residential Brokers recently ranked RE/MAX Platinum as one of Michigan’s Top 10 residential brokers based on its 2011 gross sales; RE/MAX Platinum closed 2,054 transactions in 2011.
