Want to win a pair of tickets to “The Mommologues: Tales from the Front”?

The fourth-annual event, set for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 11, brings together some of Livingston County’s best-known and most-beloved writers and performers at the Howell Opera House to celebrate mothers. The event benefits LACASA, the organization in Livingston County that works with victims and survivors of child abuse, sexual assault and domestic violence.

Readers sharing pieces on motherhood include acclaimed storyteller Jeff Doyle; award-winning journalists Buddy Moorehouse and Maria Stuart; WHMI 93.5’s Jon King; Renee Chodkowski, aka The Great Foodini; Mona Shand, a producer and correspondent for Public News Service; Pat Convery, president of the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce; and blogger and former Pinckney Village president Rebecca Foster.

Tickets for “The Mommologues: Tales from the Front” are $15 in advance and can be purchased at www.lacasacenter.org. If available, tickets will be $20 at the door.
