Howell’s historic and beautiful downtown has been nominated in the America’s Main Street contest. The winner will be determined by the number of online votes it receives. Quarterfinal voting is taking place now through April 24. Semi-finalist voting is set for May 2-29, with the winner announced on June 3.
In addition to winning some well-deserved recognition, downtown Howell could win some great prizes, including $25,000; a $1,000 certificate for STIHL equipment; $500 toward a set of Continental tires through Tire Pros.; a $500 shopping sprees with Do it Best Corp. and PPG Pittsburgh Paints; public relations and social media recognition; and a special plaque.
