The Livingston County Spartans organization is offering an annual textbook scholarship to high school seniors heading off to Michigan State University in the fall.
Deadline to apply for the $1,000 scholarship — to be used for textbooks, reading material, course packets, pamphlets or other resource material required for courses at MSU — is March 1.
To apply, the student must be a high school senior residing in Livingston County who has been accepted at MSU for the fall of 2017, and who will enroll for at least 12 credits each semester. Economic need may be considered in the award.
