Celebrate Michigan’s birthday with movies and beer

MichiganBeerFilmThe Historic Howell Theater and Eternity Brewing Co. are teaming up to celebrate Michigan’s 178th birthday with – what else? – movies and beer.

The celebration runs from Monday, Jan. 26, through Saturday, Jan. 31. There will be a new Michigan movie at the Howell Theater, 315 E. Grand River Ave. in downtown Howell,  each day, Tuesday through Friday). Check the theater schedule at www.HistoricHowellTheater.com. There will be exclusive Michigan beer with tasting events at 7 p.m. Monday through Friday at Eternity Brewing, 4040 E. Grand River Ave. in Howell.

On Saturday, Jan. 31, “The Michigan Beer Film” will be screened at the Howell Theater  with Michigan beer at Eternity Brewing and tours of both facilities. You can catch the trailer for the film about the state’s brewing industry at mibeerfilm.com
Tickets for this event are limited and available for $30 each.

Ticket A packages are on sale at the Howell Theater for the following schedule: 2:30-3 p.m. theater tour; 3-5 p.m. for the screening of “Michigan Beer Film” at the Howell Theater; and 5:30-8 p.m. for a brewery tour, with an exclusive Michigan beer flight tasting at Eternity Brewing.

Ticket B packages are on sale at Eternity Brewing. A brewery tour runs noon to 2:30 p.m., with an exclusive Michigan beer flight tasting at Eternity Brewing; 3-5 p.m. for the screening of “Michigan Beer Film” at the Howell Theater; and 5:30-6 p.m. for a theater tour.
