Catering and event competition set for Crystal Gardens

A fun-filled evening with the “best of the best” catering and event professionals from Southeast Michigan challenging each other to design the most superb tabletop displays is set for 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Crystal Gardens Banquet Center. The theme for this year’s Tabletop WOW competition is “Our World in a Setting,” with drinks, hors d’oeuvres, food stations and desserts all having a global twist. Silent auctions, “fork trees” with gift cards, and much more will be available to guests.

Designers are members of the Greater Detroit Chapter of the National Association of Catering & Events (NACE). Crystal Gardens Banquet Center is hosting the event and providing this first-ever opportunity to Livingston County. The cost is $50 per person, with proceeds benefiting Livingston County United Way-funded programs and initiatives.
