Arab American Museum traveling exhibit set for Howell through Aug. 24
The library is pleased to host an informative exhibit from the Arab American National Museum entitled: Understanding Arabs, Arab Americans, and Islam. The exhibit depicts Arab American religious diversity and compares the three major monotheistic religions, Christianity, Judaism and Islam and their major holidays.
The initiative was created by The Arab American National Museum in Dearborn, MI as part of an outreach program and supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services to educate students throughout the Midwest to meet an increased public demand for accurate and objective information.
This traveling exhibit is part of the larger museum exhibition. To visit, check out a Museum Adventure Pass available on our website.
The exhibit is open Aug. 3-24 on the main floor Reference area during regular hours.
